Our church’s radio ministry, is just one small, local element of the Free Presbyterian Church’s world wide radio ministry known as Let the Bible Speak .  For more information on the international ministry of LTBS, click here. Details of all Canadian LTBS broadcasts can be found here.

 

Currently our church broadcasts Let the Bible Speak messages on the following stations:

Each Sunday evening you can hear the Pastor, Rev. Andy Foster, as he brings God’s word to the local airwaves in the Okanagan.

History of the local broadcast

Let the Bible Speak was first heard on Giant fm in October 1993. Rev Ian Goligher, ( Cloverdale FPC) began a weekly broadcast that eventually led to the formation of Penticton Free Presbyterian Church. Rev. Foster has been doing the broadcast since 1997.

 

The Emphasis of Let the Bible Speak

Each broadcast begins with the music of Martin Luther’s great Reformation hymn, A mighty fortress is our God. This serves to emphasize our commitment to the great Bible doctrines of the Protestant Reformation and also our conviction that only in the Lord God do we find refuge and safety for our soul. In each program you will hear the old hymns of the faith beautifully sung as well as simple preaching of Christ from the word of God.

A limited supply of LTBS Quarterly magazines for Okanagan listeners is currently available at:

Many of the hymns that you hear played on our broadcasts are the production of Sacred Music Services. You can have this God honouring music for yourself!
